- An on-site assistant, referred to as an MR Safety Tech or CT Assistant, is a trained healthcare support professional on your staff who provides direct, on-site care and assistance to the patient undergoing the study while maintaining continuous audiovideo communication with the Remote Technologist throughout the process.
